Introduction

f special interest to the preacher is the examination of Morgan's method of homiletics. How d did he actually put his sermons together? How did he take his wealth of knowledge and exegetical material and shape it into a form that would communicate the message of the text to his hearers? This chapter seeks to answer these questions by summarizing Morgan's homiletical philosophy, highlighting his most frequently used sermon strategies, noting the kinds of support strategies he relied upon and taking a look at his methods of introducing and concluding sermons.
